Seven reasons why you should attend the OpenText Innovation Tour in Eindhoven

Written by Bart Willems on 24/03/17

On 30 March, the first combined OpenText and Documentum conference in Benelux will take place in Eindhoven, the hometown of AMPLEXOR in the Netherlands.

Since EMC’s Momentum Europe conference in Barcelona last November, this is the first conference during which OpenText will detail its plans for the integration of the Documentum product family with its portfolio.

Approximately 600 people are expected to attend the event, and with such a variety of interesting sessions to choose from, it seems there’s no good reason to miss it. Below are our top seven reasons why you should attend.

OPENTEXT INNOVATION TOUR - EINDHOVEN 30 MARCH 2017

1. Learn about the latest OpenText product updates and releases

Current OpenText  customers will be introduced to Documentum products, such as LEAP and InfoArchive. Conversely, the Innovation Tour will introduce Documentum customers to OpenText and showcase the platform’s products, such as Magellan analytics.

For Documentum, some of the most enticing discussions will cover:

  • The Documentum Platform roadmap
  • InfoArchive’s ability to ensure compliance
  • An introduction to LEAP, a platform that offers the richest, most extensive collection of cloud-hosted content services

2. Get inspired with strategic keynote presentations by OpenText’s executive leaders

This year’s Innovation Tour is special because OpenText’s executive and senior management will be present in Eindhoven. The day will kick off with a keynote presentation by OpenText’s President and CEO, Mark Barrenchea. Later in the day, Head of Engineering and Information Technology, Muhi Majzoub, will discuss OpenText’s future product strategy.

3. Gather valuable insights from industry-focused sessions

In addition to the central keynote presentations, there will be a long roster of breakout sessions on a variety of topics. Industry-focused tracks will address the trends and needs of the Public Sector, Energy & Utilities, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Life Sciences and Retail.

4. Meet and network with subject matter experts

Breakout sessions will cover topics, such as information technology, marketing, supply chain, procurement and finance. Experts will be available to help you solve critical business challenges and identify new opportunities.

5. Hear success stories first-hand from Documentum users

Our client the Central Administration Office (CAK), a public organization in the Netherlands that supports government schemes related to healthcare, social insurance and security, will speak about the organization’s experience with InfoArchive, which was implemented to bolster CAK’s customer experience.

ING, a global financial institution of Dutch origin, will also explain how it uses various Documentum products to achieve its business objectives.

6. Interact with the latest version of InfoArchive 4.2 on a Raspberry Pi

Visit AMPLEXOR in the exhibitor area - OpenText Innovation Tour Eindhoven

AMPLEXOR will showcase a real-time, interactive demo of InfoArchive running on a Raspberry Pi device and offer attendees the opportunity to attend several InfoArchive Hands-On-Labs. These labs will allow them to engage with the latest InfoArchive 4.2 release and discuss the software’s capabilities with our experts.

7. Find the right partner to help drive productivity and solve business challenges

AMPLEXOR is a Gold Sponsor of the event. Visit our booth in the exhibition area to learn more about InfoArchive’s and LEAP’s capabilities surrounding application decommissioning, live archiving and purpose-built apps, all of which can drive productivity and help solve your most pressing business challenges.

See you next week in Eindhoven!
