End of year recap: Amplexor 2019’s journey

    Another amazing year is coming to an end! Before we jump into the new decade, let’s look back at our biggest moments from these 12 months.

    2019 has been a busy and exciting year at Amplexor. From customers’ successes to promising partnerships, this was a period of joint achievements for our global teams, customers and partners. As the New Year dawns, we thank everyone for the winning year we’ve had together while we recap the biggest highlights of 2019.

    January:

    We started  the year with a major success, winning for the fourth time in a row the translation contract with DG Connect and celebrating a decade of partnership and collaboration with the European Commission.

    In our first webinar of the year, we revealed the fastest way to launch a website in multiple languages, helping attendees to conquer new audiences and expand their customer base.

    February:

    In February we expanded our presence to Kobe, Japan, ensuring a closer connection to the Asia Pacific region. This geographical expansion was an important and natural step in supporting our already existing customers in Japan.

    Our team in Luxembourg hosted a popular Meet Up session at the Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce (LPCC). Through  customer success stories like Business Wire and KBC, we showed how intelligent content solutions are helping global organizations to scale across markets.

    March:

    Marching our way into the year,  we sponsored OpenText Enterprise World in Vienna, the biggest information management conference in the world.  Showcasing our long-term Documentum expertise, our team was onsite to unveil the latest trends around the future of intelligent and connected enterprises. But that wasn’t the only reason why Enterprise World was exciting for Amplexor!

    In this year’s edition, we were one of three finalists for the Partner of the Year Award, a recognition of OpenText’s top performing partners.

    April:

    Starting the month with some #ValoLove, we were awarded the Marketing Master of the Year in Amsterdam. Our dedication to Valo’s ready-to-go intranet solutions was recognized by our partner after only a year of working together.

    The next flight took us to Leuven, Belgium, where we co-hosted the OpenText DigiGov 2019. Fully dedicated to the public sector, we dove into real scenarios on how technology has been fueling citizen services innovation.

    Landing in France, we joined the E-Marketing conference in Paris where we presented an SEO Strategy 2020 Workshop. Focusing on SEO trends and inbound marketing best practices, we examined digital marketing and effective customer engagement strategies.

    May:

    We joined ValueIntranet and Microsoft to launch The Luxembourg Digital Workplace Community, an exclusive network to discuss the trends for intranets and digital workplaces, joined by experts from different industries.

    And, because our experts never get tired of sharing their knowledge, we hosted yet another webinar, showing what your business can gain from augmented reality technologies.

    With so much going on, you MAY be wondering if our experts ever take a break.

    June:

     The South of France was already one of the top summer destinations for 2019, but the 21st edition of our Be The Expert event just strengthened its position. Bringing together Life Sciences subject matter experts and industry professionals, the 3-day conference held special keynotes, training sessions and workshops to help you keep up with regulatory requirements and information flows.

    During June, we also expanded our partner network welcoming Xillio to our winning team. Strengthening our offer in the content services area, Xillio offers a set of  over thirty content connectors to support content lifecycles and accelerate digital transformation across industries and domains.

    July:

    The month of July kicked off with another partner upgrade. We achieved the highest level in Valo’s Partner Program, a recognition of successful intranet launches in companies from all industries.

    Amplexor was also once again ranked in CSA’s biggest LSPs in the world, adding to our top 10 position in both Slator’s and Nimdzi’s world rankings.

    August:

    Eindhoven got to host a 10-day OpenText Captiva BootCamp. With hands-on labs and training sessions, we shared knowledge on everything intelligent capture, from Captiva administration to capture process development.

    Our knowledge on ISO IDMP was once again featured in Pharmafield’s August edition. In Back on track – what’s next for ISO IDMP?, we offered tips on how to implement this standard for the pharmaceutical sector.

    September:

    Back to school season means new starts and that’s exactly what we offered to Multipharma. The largest pharmacy retailer in Belgium got a new collaboration platform developed by our intranet experts.

    Different month, new stops. And September took us to TAUS, the Translation Automation User Society in Dublin, hosted by Microsoft. With global content as the focus of the conference, Amplexor presented a panel where we discussed the human vs machine translation debate.

    Cologne, Germany, received us at the Digital Marketing Expo & Conference (DMEXCO). Surrounded by industry leaders and marketing and media experts, we presented an Adobe success story, together with Plan.Net Group.

    To stay on top of the digital marketing game, we made sure to cross the ocean and stop by Content Marketing World in Cleveland, Ohio, US, and left the conference full of inspiring digital insights.

    October:

    We started the tenth month of the year diving straight into language technology, in Singapore, at TAUS Asia Conference. Presenting about unattended localization at scale, we opened the door to topics like optimized machine translation, linguistic workflows and focused linguistic management.

    We had a great time at LavaCon Content Strategy Conference in Portland, US, playing the content super-heroes while connecting the dots in content creation and effective content strategies.

    November:

    The end of the year was drawing near, but we were still going full-speed. November started with a major achievement for our Life Sciences teams. Gartner, a leading research and advisory company, named Amplexor as Next-Generation Regulatory Information Management (RIM) Provider in its latest Market Guide for Life Sciences RIM solutions. Amplexor was also featured in Gartner’s latest Hype Cycles for Life Science Commercial Operations and Research and Development.

    It was with great joy that we congratulated three of our customers for their win in the Corporate IT Awards. Multipharma, FEDNOT and WABCO were distinguished for their exceptional play in digital innovation.

    November also saw our Life Sciences experts featured in renowned  industry magazines: Big Pharma, Pharma Technology Focus and International Biopharmaceutical Industry all showcased our professionals’ knowledge, from data management to labelling. Our language technology expertise was also on the spotlight at the fourth European Commission’s ELRC conference. We were invited to give a presentation on post-editing productivity with domain-adapted neural machine translation (NMT), sharing our expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing,

    The month wrapped with the return of The World of Modern Intranets to Luxembourg, for a morning program focused on Microsoft Teams and Valo.

    December:

    Closing the year on a bright note, it was again time for more award wins. We proudly saw our Premium Partner Valo win the ESPC award for the Best Intranet. The European Office 365 & Azure Community recognized our partner for the fourth year in a row, for their leading intranet platform and their dedication to providing customers with the best fitted digital workplace. Just before we popped the champagne, Adobe renewed their recognition of our digital expertise, this time with the Adobe Run & Operate specialization, highlighting our advanced DevOps approach.

     

    With such a great year, we can’t wait for what’s coming in 2020! We are so proud of our teams and partners and what we have accomplished together during this year. Here’s to another 365 days of success!
